Pray for Pastor Melchor's family
Please pray for Pastor Melchor, his wife Antonia, and their family who recently lost their 11 year old son, Wilbur.
They are from a Oaxacan town called Tiltepec. It is in region of indigenous people called the Chatinos, and is about 3 hours up into the mountains from the mission where we work, Roca Blanca.
Little Wilbur was born with a lethal heart defect, We have known him for a few years and it is amazing to us that he lived this long. Tiny, and unable to even walk due to his condition, he had a deep faith and relationship with the Lord. He was fully expecting to be healed. Finally after a surgical attempt to help him, he passed away and was buried last week.
I remember 2 years ago when he was brought to our clinic, we thought he might die on us then. I sat with his mother, and watched his father tenderly hold his unconscious little boy.
Now I have been told that Antonia is suffering terribly with her loss, and I can only imagine Melchor anquish, I have seen the sorrow that they always carried.
Please pray for God's comfort. We know that Wilbur is whole now, and I know that he is rejoicing.
Please pray for the family's comfort.
Thank you
