Prayer Request

**Update**  As of last week, the money has been raised and the UN has told the family that they will be flying to San Diego around April 20th!  Hooray! Please continue to pray that they make it safely out of Turkey, and that Vivian's mom gets the medical attention that she needs soon.  Thanks so much!

Hi Everyone.

My cousin Robert's wife Vivian is Iraqi (Kurdish Christian), and her family is living in Turkey as refugees.  They have been trying desperately to get to the US, and the UN is about to give them a chance to relocate to San Diego (where Vivian and Robert are living now).  But Turkey refuses to let them leave the country unless they can pay the Turkish government $15,000 for the honor of living in their refugee camps for the last few years.  They have no money, and my cousin has only been able to raise $4,000, and can not get a loan for the rest.  If they don't pay soon, they'll have to wait another 7-10 months before the UN will consider their case again (during which they will be trapped in Turkey, and will continue to accrue "rent" debt).  Plus, Vivian's mother is sick and in need of a hysterectomy.  If you could pray with us that God will make a way for Vivian's family (mom, dad, and three brothers) to come safely to San Diego, and that He would keep his hand on Vivian's mother and heal her, I would be very grateful.

Thanks!
Sarah (Dunn)

PS-Here is a link to a blog that Robert set up when they first started raising money to bring Vivian's family to the US.  It hasn't been fully updated yet, so it doesn't have the latest news (the Turkish government raised the fee to $15,000 fairly recently, and although the UN has given the family permission to relocate to the US, they haven't given them an exact date yet).  But there are pictures, and there is also a link for donations, should you be so inclined.  Thanks so much for your prayers!  They mean a whole lot!
